Education & Training
Dr. Hong’s path to dentistry began in her hometown of Grosse Pointe, Michigan, but her curiosity and sense of adventure took her to the East Coast, where she earned her undergraduate degree from Boston University. After exploring city life in Boston, she returned to Michigan to pursue her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
Always committed to growth, she continues to expand her expertise through advanced training, hands-on workshops, and continuing education courses. Her goal is to bring the latest techniques and highest standard of care to her patients — always.
Outside the Office
When she’s not helping patients feel confident about their smiles, Dr. Hong enjoys life at home with her husband and their lovable bernedoodle puppy. She’s an avid cook, loves traveling, and enjoys exploring Chicago’s dynamic food scene — always on the lookout for new restaurants to try. Her warm, grounded personality is just one of the many reasons patients of all ages feel at ease in her care.
